Rarity:! From a seed Cardiocrinum kinds grow ever more closely becoming Rosette from large, purely green sheets with shining surface over five years away in one. Starting from the flower-ripe they develop a high, normal bloom trunk. With beginning of the bloom at the beginning of June hang on the bloom handle four to twenty clean-white, tubular trumpet blooms long up to 20 cm, which smell clearly and pleasantly. The blooms can exhibit a pink strip at the lower surface. Beside the “usual” increase over dusting and seeds generativen increase Cardiocrinum kinds also vegetativy. The plants die after the seed-ripe, train thereby however up to ten daughter bulbs, which attain after depending upon size in three to five years again flower-ripe. Spreading all kinds of the kind Cardiocrinum are resident in Asia. They prefer locations in the penumbra as well as loose and well fertilized, always easily moisten ground on peat basis.
